Design of Marine Auxiliary Systems module 2 Fundamentals Pumps, Compressors and Heat Exchangers

The training series Design of Marine Auxiliary Systems covers the main aspects of marine auxiliary systems on board of vessels or offshore platforms. During four modules the participants are given an overview of the main auxiliary systems, their main components, the fundamental working principles and the design aspects & considerations. The theory is practised by means of exercises during the modules. Each module can be followed separately, but combined they provide the participant a complete overview of and the in-depth knowledge required to design all marine auxiliary systems. Module 2 is intended to impart fundamental knowledge of the key components of auxiliary systems – pumps, compressors and heat exchangers.
